After pending for a long time, I’m closer than ever to the new i-Phone 3Gs which will arrive this Friday! Several layers of resin impregnated high-strength carbon fibers are hot-pressed and brought into shape. Gorilla’s production line is using high tech industrial adhesive to assembly the carbon fiber parts with fiber-reinforced side pieces. Out comes the gorilla tube; and although Carbon is super strong, light and very expensive, that's why we only find it in high-end products, where small weight and extreme stability are required at the same time, these cases are affordable for our precious Apple devices.

The production of artificial fibers such as carbon fibers requires a lot of energy. gorilla cases co-operates with the automobile industry, whereby they are now able to present their "Nature Edition" where fiber-reinforced high tech plastics are replaced by eco-friendly raw materials such as Jute.
