Rosalie de Kruyf’s collection jewelXLery is an extremely oversized string of pearls which has become a decorative object for interior design. A lamp is placed at the end of the string of pearls and its light playfully dances around the room when it is moved about.
JewelXLery is lighTumble // the movement of this tumbling light can be endlessly repeated without it becoming boring. The lamp is lit while it is in motion, and switches off when it is still. Guess you’ll have to move it if you want to have light while enjoying a drink with friends! But design and fashion do need sacrifices some times!

JewelXLery which belongs to the collection Light fantasy // a collection of light objects. The desire to be a child led Rosalie de Kruyf to immerse herself in the world of children. The way a child sees the world provided her inspiration. Wonder, exaggeration, fantasy, aimlessness, and repetition are the central themes of this collection.
Rosalie de Kruyf is an industrial designer who is mainly concerned with designing interior products. In 2009, she established her own design studio. Her product collection is often conceptually substantiated. Rosalie de Kruyf uses her experience, desire and fascination as inspiration for her designs, which are sometimes motivated by spatial design.
