Courier Fashion by Ruud Baan
text by Apostolos Mitsios for Yatzer

Imagine you have participated in one of the numerous Yatzer contests and you have won one of our ‘design is to share’ items. They have called you from the courier company and soon their boy will arrive at your house. How would a Yatzer courier boy look like? And how would he be dressed? After taking a look at the following photos, we must say we have no doubts. Dutch photographer Ruud Baan thought that courier companies should pay more attention to their employees and dress them in the most fashionable way. After all, image counts. So he wandered around the streets of Rotterdam in order to find the best locations for shooting the ideal courier boy, with the help of studio Raar that constructed some unique hand made bicycles. We leave you with the results that were originally published in JFK magazine and can’t help thinking that if courier boys had those looks and styles, we might seriously think about changing profession!

These duds look amazing but honestly I dont see the practicality for biking in them what so ever. They look extremely hot and non maneuverable. Just when I thought there couldn't be anymore non relative fashion and art insertions into the bicycle community I once again am thoroughly surprised and entertained! Thanks guys!
