Latest works by Kyouei design

The director of the Japanese based design studio, Kyouei design, Ayako Nakanish and the ceo/designer of the studio Kouichi Okamoto sent us today their latest projects. The composition chair, the glass tank and the water clock. Discover them through the following images and the discriptions of the designer.

It's all hand made by the designer himself. It was created by bending aluminium wire and crossing it one by one. No bolts or welding is used at all and the tools used for this design are only a jig and a pair of pliers.

material : heat-resistans glass
size: W130mm x D80mm x H220mm
weight : 210g
 
it is a glass for drinking a lot. A device consists of a bulb shaped container with the glass below. When the amount in the glass decreases, a constant amount is poured from the tank into the glass. Never overflowing from the glass because of air pressure and water pressure.

Please take a plate/glass,etc. and pour the water into it. The balls that float on the water display time. The balls can be placed in any plate/glass at your choice. To create square ceramic needs very high technique. Daniel uses a 3D modeling and many of molds.
The water clock was completed thanks to Daniel Jo's investigation.

    I must know how long it took to create the aluminum chair. Upon close inspection it is quite a passionate bit of labor.
