She has just succesfully completed her Degree in Illustration at the London College of Communication. She adores making Collages and drawing people. And yatzer adores her artworks!

The following collage has been designed by Nicola exclusively for yatzer. No words to describe her talent! And the less I could do to thank her is to share some of her illustrations and collages at yatzer!

A series of images and book covers based on one of his favourite books, Cather in The Rye.

Describe yourself in five words.
Creative, geeky, happy, curious and thoughtful.

If you could be a different nationality, what would it be?
I’d be an Argentinian Princess

What’s your favourite movie?
Arghhh how do you choose just one, I just re-watched The Darjeeling Limited so I’d say that, actually I’d generally like to live in any Wes Anderson film.

What kind of music you like to listen?
I’m very much an folky, indie girl at heart.

What is your favourite design material?
My lovely scalpel with extra sharp blades, oh and a very fine black drawing pen.

What is the most expensive piece of furniture in your house?
Humm, well not technically a piece of furniture but my precious Mac, Butch, cost a pretty penny or two.

What inspires you?
Ohh, lots of different things, today masking tape and brown parcel paper inspires me.

You are going for a weekend “somewhere” and you have to invite 7 famous people, dead or alive. Where would you go and who would they be?
I’m go to Iceland for the weekend. I’d invite Morrissey, Jack Kerouac, Jason Schwartzman, Barbara Hepworth, Alan Bennett, John Frusciante and I’d love a little chat with Maggie Gyllenhaal she seems fun.

Are you afraid of the future?
I think it’s best not to dwell on the future. Although I’m not afraid of it, I’ll just deal with it as it comes.

Describe me the perfect day?
The perfect day would be very sunny. I’d go out for a cup of tea with my lovely housemates, read the Sunday papers, go to the park, read a book and a little bit of drawing, then maybe watch a film and eat some good food.

What does space mean to you?
A frame and a line and some paper.

Luxury is?
Making collages and drawing all day long everyday!

Design is?
Having fun and making something that appeals to you, the bonus is when it appeals to someone else too!!
