"I will exhibit my latest work at Beckmans College of Design (19th -25th of May) which consist of two lighting fixtures that I hope you will be interested in. Using basic shapes and cutting them in different ways, I explore the fundamental principles that create function and form. Function generates form, while form generates function. In my spotlight Turn I use the newest LED technology for low power consumption and durability. The cut makes it possible to direct the light. In my pendant light fixture Split I use fluorescent light with rotatable lamp shades to direct the light." - Joel Hesselgren
