My favororite color is what i call "Passionate red" and it's the Pantone 188PC (c0 m97 y100 k50) and it's because as a designer i had this client years ago who made me use a lot of red, and when I was looking for some colors for the scheme i found this interesting and I already liked the Reds because his power and passion, I know that pink represents love better... but red is all about passion and sex and this specific tone for me is very powerful and well balanced not to be distractive when comes to graphic design, it becomes a powerful background message to the viewer... And I personally call it "Rojo apasionado" (passionate red) So, that's it, thank you. Your site is truly amazing, keep it up!

Hi, My favorite color is purple and I can see that in many ways...For example, when I'm drafting in AutoCAD or some other application, I color most of the layers in purple tones. Also I use purple for my final drawings which are usually bi-colored (black&purple) and of-course in my projects... My favorite purple is with these features: R189, G131, B208... And yeah, my "All stars" are also purple... :) I think that this is connected somehow with the phase in my life that I'm going through. My favorite color is a deep emerald green. It is such a lush shade and is deliciously mysterious. Its my favorite not only because it is the color of my birthstone (May=emerald), but also because the most alluring part of both forest and sea are this shade of green. I call it passion for green. My friends and everybody else that knows about my passion, calls it Green Edina. I have a reputation of wearing this color, whether if it's a pastel, fluorescent, really dark, but there's just one green "edina". And that would be R159G274B33. I discovered that green was my color when, whatever i did, bought, painted, designed, wore, and ate from time to time(just tasted better.btw, my all time favorite is green salad, green apples and parsley <3 ow, and mint ice-cream) :), well, it was green. I found my green in high-school and when i wasn't wearing green(even if it was just a ring or a bracelet) friends asked why, where's my green, what happened with me. They knew when i was alright, i was wearing it. MY eyes pop and I'm hypnotized every time i see this specific green. It could be anything, any stupid little object, if it's green, it caught my heart. :)) that doesn't mean i'm some kinda "green witch"... i don't like having too much green on me, in my house or wherever,yeah, i know, not that logical, but this color, even if it represents me, even if people call it be my name, i have only little precious things that are green. I like to think of it as a color that only a few things really deserve to "wear" it for real. for example, shoes.(i own a pair...so, yeah, i am the luckiest) And it's all about what this color means to me, not what its general meaning is... This makes it personal. It only comes natural whenever i use it,no thinking, just green. And for me, green is freedom, enthusiasm and mild "craziness". so , i'm going "edina" green, how about you???

My favorite color has to be any shade close to AQUA. As a kid I spent my summers on the beaches of cape cod, but the royal blue waters never fulfilled by 'childhood dream' of swimming in 'tropical & clear' water. At 21 years old, I still have yet to swim st the beach in aqua colored water. so seeing this color makes me feel happy, and subsides the waiting.

Green is a misconception in a whole. Originally during the Renaissance it was the color of evil-whereas red was the color of vitality. Red is green as good is to evil. Now a days green has an entirely new meaning. "Going Green" is about improvement and conservation-ironically quite the opposite of it's original symbolic meaning. Knowing that, green is incredible and malleable in symbolism.

My favourite colour is undoubtedly the 'Bordeaux, Wine Red' pencil from Faber-Castell's 'Albrecht Dόrer' range (No. 133). I've bought it at least three times during my time studying Industrial Design, and it continues to be a favourite. The name is enticing; it reminds me of ma belle fille, the 'Francophile' (her words, not mine). And who doesn't enjoy a colour which reminds them of the warmth, and sweet abandon, to be found in a fine bottle of red wine...? The colour itself is amazing. Being a watercolour, it blends perfectly with our Copic markers to bring it to life in full vibrance. The colour is bold, but it can be fanciful. I've used it on exotic, arcane objects, all the way through to renditions of the 'heart'. It's versatile, and soft, but bold. It's a bit of a paradox. And it's not a colour I'd have traditionally looked for as a man; but it's surprisingly good fun. Finding the colour was just that moment of joy, upon finding a hidden treasure amongst the Dόrer rack at my Art School. (Aiden, Australia)
