THE NAME
Yatzer is a creation from the designer Mr. Costas Voyatzis.
The name was derived from his childhood years, were he was nick named by all his friends as [Vo]Yatzer. Hence the outcome Yatzer. January 21st, 2007, Yatzer was launched under the site kostasvoyatzis.wordpress.com with a daily access of merely 300 visitors (9.000/month). 2008 the site got a new layout and on May 1st it was re-launched as www.yatzer.com and today it enjoys, on an average basis, approximately 500,000 visits per month.
THE BLOG / MAGAZINE
Yatzer is a design Blog / Magazine with prime focus to locate, collect and share all the beautiful things within the creative world and make its viewers aware of all the very latest and most unique items from all the creative fields such as architecture, art, interiors, industrial design, graphics and fashion. Yatzer aims to generate an interactive Design Community, where well established designers, new designers, students and design addicts from all disciplines will have the opportunity to interact, promote and discuss their work. Yatzer also aims to establish a network of collaborations with other design and arts related on & offline magazines and blogs, as well as design & art institutions, organizations and schools, so as to offer its users and sponsors the most premium experience and ultimate reach. All the posted items launched are solely based on its founder’s personal aesthetics and design visions, which Yatzer share with all the design-addicts in the universe, because we believe that ‘design is to share’.

THE FOUNDER
Costas Voyatzis was born in Athens, Greece, 1980. He commenced his studies in Meteorology at the Physics University of Athens and after two years he joined the design world by concluding a degree in Interior Design.
He began his design career in 2003 as a style consultant and design trend setter at one of Greece’s leading interior magazine ‘MAISON & DECORATION’. His passion for the search in the creative world lead him to what is now known as one of the most popular design aware blogs carrying the name Yatzer which was launched on the 21st of January 2007. His belief for the design trend is simply
“Think big, act big, and never stop until you achieve perfection”

...I think that i 've been addicted to your site...i can't even understand what stimulates me more every day, my cup of coffee or your updates...(Is there any antidote in case the addiction becomes serious? or may I get as many doses as i can? is there any prescription?
