‘The Lost Boys’ signified the next chapter and Guiseppe Virgoneon’s second collection for S/S2011 presented from MODO Brussels, featuring pieces inspired by the notion and appearance of the body at the end of life – another human slash nature related stimulus for Giuseppe that evoked the best impressions.

Following two very successful first collections, the time came for the ‘Accords Brisés' (Broken Chords), his F/W 2012-13 collection partly introduced at a Vicuna soiree and later fully presented during the Paris Fashion Week, in January 2011. As  Giuseppe states:
‘For this new collection, I was inspired by a character from the 15th century, Girolamo Savonarola. I wanted to have a work made of cuts and materials, mixing wool, leather and embroidery so as to obtain both structured and unstructured silhouettes. Indeed, the collection begins with very monastic silhouettes and goes on to finish with contemporary accents’.

No matter the experience, the number of collections and commercial sway, fashion should always be an inspiration and should play with dynamics and nurture concepts of universe. This makes fashion a stimulating form of art and Giuseppe Virgone seems to have absolutely embraced this notion.
