Emma Elizabeth

Emma Elizabeth  was born in Sydney, Australia in 1984, but spent the majority of her youth in the USA and UK.  Emma Elizabeth’s transcontinental studies include a Bachelor of Built Environment at QUT, Architecture and Arts History degree at the University of Queensland, Fashion Styling at Central St Martin's College in London, and Commercial Interior Design (Scenografia) from the acclaimed Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan. Emma Elizabeth’s time in Milan was seminal as the degree was unusual in providing skills in a montage of art, design, fashion and innovation. Emma Elizabeth created her company Emma Elizabeth Designs in 2006 in Sydney after exhibiting her furniture CHUZO at Salone del Mobile 2006, but is best known in Sydney as a multi-disciplined designer that fuses commercial styling and art direction, with set and exhibition design,  and industrial design.

In early 2010, Emma was struck by the lack of video on the web that featured the living, moving and dynamic elements of design at the key design forums.  So she decided that she would wanted to create a personal video log (vlog) to share her experiences with the online design community. At the Salone de Mobile 2010, she began vlogging the exhibitions, showcasing the designs and interviewing designers n in a living, informative and entertaining manner …  and so thedesignvlog.com was born and Emma Elizabeth became the 'globe trotting designer'

Frequently inspired by Yatzer, it was a natural progression for Emma to approach Costas and suggest a cross medium collaboration.  So September 2010 they decided to get together and create a new revolution in online design media!
