I like the envy, and the pride

Well if YOU are confused you can recheck Wikipedia. It puts vainglory (vanity) into the sin Pride. Hence, they are the same sin. There is a section of Wikipedia that lists 11 deadly sins in which vainglory and pride are separated but if you condense them into 7 they are the same sin.

no there not. vanity is a love of your own appearance, while pride is a boastfulness towards your own deeds. if ur confused just wikipedia the 7 deadly sins. and may i say very nice designs in both form and function.

Vanity and Pride are the same sin.

Greed and Gluttony are not the same sin. Gluttony deals with food and wanting more of something than you really need. Greed deals with refusing to give up things that you don't need such as money.

interesting designs and effective expressions of each abstract concept, but greed and gluttony are the same sin, the 7th is vanity, I'd have liked to see that one

I dont get why the envy glass is shaped like that. Can someone explain how the lust glass works? needless to say amazing designs.....Loved the wrath design....Simply "wrath" comes to your mind at the sight of it.

Not quite my style as far as design is concerned. I understand they are purely decorative, and not so much functional, though it would be handy to have a wine glass I could stab someone with.

Like the eighth deadly sin: Saying your mom jokes, or the Eleventh Deadly Sin: Flaming people on the internet... I am amused by the people who say they are not marketable. I guess they dont get out (of the box) much.

Envy = works with a straw. Also, drunk = drinking wine through a straw

As impractical as they might be I would still break them out at a party. They look amazing. I could pick friends for each glass and "greedily" use the coolest one myself. Anyone who doesn't appreciate these as being totally creative and fascinating probably gets their kicks out of doing taxes.

umm those glasses are cool but some of them look impssible to even drink out of. my favorite is the wrath glass.

those glasses don't seem to represent the sins in any way. you could intechange the glasses in the pictures, and it'd still be the exact same thing. lame.

the lust one works kind of like a deodorant roller, so youd have to lick it off to spin the ball thing at the end to get the liquid. kind of weird though because you wont really get a whole lot of liquid out that way, if any.

Lust is like a ball point pen where the wine is corked by a glass ball, requiring someone to lick it or put their mouth around it to get a drink. kind of like a hamster's water

i love the envy glass signifies what you want, but will never be able to have... or drink..

envy and greed are so cool...envy of course means you envy something you can't/don't have...so in this case no wine...unless you act jealously then wine is all over you...greed of course all those little horns tugging/stealing/implying "there is never enough wine!" as for practical why? when being creative and artistic practical it is NOT a requirement. These are full of whimsy and delight and fun and creativity and smarts! Good stuff and a great way to represent sin...

wow, those are so cool. i really see how you have to try to drink out of one to feel the feeling. like, with greed you would drink all the wine and then try your hardest to get the wine out of the horns so you can drink that too. i bet the gluttony one makes it hard to drink out of, like i bet the wine sloshes around in there and would most likely spill out onto your gut. very cool.

I'm going to guess that Lust works like a water bottle used for small animals in cages, where you have to lick and roll the ball at the bottom in order to dispense the liquid..? I think these are all very intriguing designs!

It is rare to meet such creativity and style. It is by far one of the most interesting things I've ever seen.

They're all impractical and most will ensure that you end up wearing instead of drinking your wine. These glasses are clearly designed for collection and a discussion piece for the wine connaisseur who has everything. Can you imagine trying to wash dried wine reside out of the "tentacles" of Greed? Good luck with that one.

These are creative, but I agree that they're a little on the tacky side. Or maybe it's just the models that look tacky.

The Envy glass is my absolute favorite!! It really captures the way envy works; always focusing on what you don't have and being unable to anyoy any of whay you do have.

Quite obviously they are not designed for practicality. If you'll notice, envy has holes in it, therefore rendering it unusable. They are pieces of art.
