The amply-lit Tsatsas showroom on Frankenallee 104 exudes a sense of thoughtful simplicity and sophistication. Designed by Esther and Dimitrios themselves, the space comprises a retail store and showroom showcasing all available Tsatsas products, as well as a model-making workshop where prototypes are developed before they are sent to the main workshop in the nearby town of Offenbach for manufacturing. Another room separated from the showroom area by a glass wall contains the offices for the sales and PR teams, thus bringing the whole Tsatsas core team under the same roof in a well-designed mini-headquarters.

The centrepiece of the space is of course the five-metre-long display with all the Tsatsas products; this white-lacquered shelving system has shelves made of marble imported by Dimitrios from his home country of Greece, a material that accentuates the luxurious ambience of the space and the supple feel of the products themselves. The prototype workshop corner was designed as a room within a room using matt-lacquered plywood panels, providing relative privacy for work but also open enough for visitors and buyers to take a look into the brand’s creative process. The space has been peppered with objects and furniture deemed as “iconic” by the founders, including Konstantin Grcic’s Chair One, the wall-mounted 265 lamp by Flos and a tabletop lamp by Michael Anastassiades. The Tsatsas showroom is the brand’s only sales point in Frankfurt am Main, and is open by appointment only.

Combining cutting-edge design with superior-quality materials, each Tsatsas product is a unique piece of craftsmanship, since each bag, clutch, wallet and purse is made by hand by a team of expert leather artisans, and is then individually numbered.
