Currently living in Keswick in the Lake District in the UK, 30 year old Bowman is the Creative Director at Millican, a travel bag brand making sustainable backpacks for conscious travellers and deep thinkers. He has been a Graphic Designer/Creative all his life. He graduated from The University of Huddersfield and has a degree as well as MA in Graphic Design Practice. “My love of the outdoors began when I was around 24, when I was looking for more in life than the 9-5, and ways to stay inspired. Nature, the outdoors and mountains seemed to provide me with what I was looking for” he says. In 2013, he moved to Norway, to a small mountain village called Hemsedal, where he spent 18 months living a free and simple life alongside nature, snowboarding, climbing, hiking, camping and fishing. This is where he completed the book The Outsiders and began The Great Wide Open before moving back to the UK to work with Millican as he wholeheartedly believed in their values and mission.
