Originally from Västerås, Sweden, artist and entrepreneur Mikael Genberg is known internationally for developing alternative ways of accommodation. His hallmark is a red Swedish house with white corners. His idea to build such a house on the moon came about in 1999, after Genberg learned that the Swedish Space Corporation was planning to build a moonlander. He plans to see the project through in the coming years.
