ΣΕΡΑΠΙΣ (Serapis) is a young luxury-fashion label based out of Athens, Greece. It was established in mid-2014 as the collective effort of four friends -- Giorgos, Manolis, Krini and Dimirta. A 2014-2015 tanker ship's voyage from Poland to Saudi Arabia and through the Suez Canal proved the inspiration for their first collection and photos taken of the ship's crew during that voyage were turned into innovative prints on the label's silk and silk-panneled garments and accessories. Today, Serapis is gaining a growing international following for its uncomplicated designs which are based on innovative twists on ship workers gear. Serapis fuses fashion, art and the shipping industry and is an incredible ambassador of the creativity and ingenuity of the label's homeland's homegrown talents.
