Studio Job was formed by Belgian designer Job Smeets in 1998 in the Renaissance spirit combining traditional and modern techniques to produce one-of-a-kind objects. Drawing from classical, popular and contemporary design and highly visual and sculptural art, the studio's works have won various design awards and have been shown in museums and galleries all around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum London, FIAC, Cooper-Hewitt, Guggenheim, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Wallraf-Richartz Museum, NRW Forum and several major Dutch museums.
