Founded in 2007 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Tomáš Libertíny's studio explores the intersection of nature and technology. Libertíny himself was born in Slovakia and studied at the Technical University Košice in Slovakia, where he focused on engineering and design. He was awarded George Soros’s Open Society Institute Scholarship to study at The University of Washington in Seattle, then continued his study at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, specializing in painting and conceptual design.
