Everything around us is perceived in terms of design and the truth is that apart from the Yatzer world, design has become an essential factor in our everyday lives. But despite the key factor that design plays in our life how much do we really know about its history? Conran Octopus and the British Design Museum teamed up and created a unique partnership to compile an exciting new series of books which will also be published by them. Each book includes a short description and evaluation of each of the fifty items. The book explores what has given it the iconic status and design significance for it to have gained a special place in design history.
