Catching the Wild designed by Johannes Hemann & Kai Linke
177 x 65 x 97cm, steel, polyester robe
Being a little child everyone wants to be a cowboy. Years later we finalley let your dream become reality. This object was designed for modern cowboys ?We were inspired by the old wild west world with all the fantastic movies, documentations and pictures.
The object Catching the Wild is a still-life, and pays homage to the Wild West. The Lasso wardrobe transports the great open Wild West into the here and now. Modern cowboys will readily entrust their clothes to it and, when they hang things up or take them out, the elliptical-shaped hanger swings in and out.
