In early 2009, Studio Rolf.fr was founded to be able to focus entirely on the designing of furniture and products. The theme of transformation of the architecture is now translated and applied to this field of working: existing furniture is being transformed and given new functionality, esthetetic quality and lifespan. What the transformation in essence comes down to is, like in architecture, the creating of a symbiosis between existing and newly added elements, parts and materials.
