Born in Klerkdorp, South Africa, Annemarie started her career in South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) but soon transitioned into fashion editor for Huisgenoot and You magazines. Before long, along with fellow media genius Karen Roos, they created RED, a new South African fashion publication and later on, House and Leisure Magazine. She is currently deputy editor of VISI magazine, South Africa’s style bible for design, décor & architecture, as well an interior designer. Having also published a number of books, including Shortcuts to Storage, Fast Décor, Outdoor living and South: South African Style in Décor, she has gained a reputation as an African Stylista extraordinary.
