Matija Cop is a Croatian fashion designer, currently a student of fashion design at the Faculty of Textile Design in Zagreb. Before turning to fashion he was a national champion in athletics and a student of Croatian language and literature. Cop's projects are remisniscent of architecture, mainly because of his theoretical approach to fashion design, which deals with the relationships bewteen space and the body. Mostly known for his modular 'Object 12-1' collection, Matija Cop has produced several experimental collections, a few of which have been featured in Lady Gaga's G.U.Y. video. Cop has also worked on costumes for the final episode of The Hunger Games trilogy.
