Executive produced by Marcin Fajfruk and Andrzej Ostrowski and co-written by the two together with director, Przemek Chojnacki, this intriguing video features many prominent scientists from Wrocław in its cast. They include philologist, Professor Jan Miodek; historians, Professor Przemysław Wiszewski and Professor Jerzy Maroń; mathematician, Professor Zbigniew Palmowski; astronomer, Professor Paweł Rudawy; and musicologist, Agnieszka Drożdżewska, Ph.D, who act out the various double-taking skits alongside actors from Wrocław and the Festung Breslau reconstruction team members.
The compelling skits also include a mathematician encountering a nebula of algorithms inside an old baroque building; a group of Rococo-era partiers facing off with a modern-era DJ; and a mid-20th century investigator who uses a cell-phone in order to help solve his case. Do any of these scripts make sense in the natural? Perhaps not, but they do reveal the underlying truth behind humanity’s need and thirst for knowledge: that people never change, only our circumstances do and that each of us is responsible for the paths we take in life.
