Artist, Cesar Biojo, was born in California in 1981. He is of Columbian descent and is  currently based between Philadelphia, U.S.A. and Barcelona, Spain. In 2005 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a BA in Art History and a BFA in Painting before receiving a MFA in Painting in 2008 and a PhD in Painting and Investigation Universidad de Barcelona in 2013.

His unique portraits are based on the balance between "creation and destruction." He first paints a "perfect" image and then he creates "perfect imperfection" by dragging extra paint over the image with a spatula, ripping the canvas and creating truly one of a kind results. He has taken part in a number of international exhibitions such as Untitled Gallery in Barcelona, Oglesby Gallery and the Atlantic Center for the Arts in Florida, and has participated in art fairs such as the Holland Art Fair in the Netherlands in 2010.
