Gregor Hohenberg is an editorial photographer who was born in Magdeburg, East-Germany. He currently lives and works in Berlin.His reputation was established by his work for Vogue, GQ, Architectural Digest, Stern, Die Zeit, and other renowned publications. In 2006, he won Germany’s prestigious Lead Award for his sophisticated fashion editorial with supermodel Nadja Auermann in Achtung magazine, where he has been chief photographer since 2001. His fashion photography has been exhibited in MAK, Vienna, featured at the Goethe Institute Germany and in collaboration with fashion designer Frank Leder at showstudio.com. With a keen eye for detail, Hohenberg remains interested in the people behind fashion. His interest in German culture and history led him to the subject of traditional clothing, which, in his opinion, is an undeservingly neglected topic with almost inexhaustible potential.
