Twenty British architecture firms and designers have been invited by the Cathedral Group to create a unique take on the dollhouse as part of a fund-raising event for KIDS, a UK charity that supports disabled children, young people and their families. And the twenty contemporary interpretations of the traditional dollhouse all display elements of modern British architecture, craftsmanship and interior design, bringing the traditional dollhouse well and truly into the 21st century.
All the dollhouses are currently on sale through an online auction which is open to the public (click here to visit the auction page). On November 11th 2013, further bids will be accepted for the six most popular dolls’ houses during an event at Bohnams in London, UK to an audience of invited guests. All the profits raised from this event will be donated to KIDS.
