Gestalten specializes in developing cutting-edge visual culture worldwide. In drawing from a variety of influences and combining them in ways not yet seen before, Gestalten seeks to push contemporary creative expression to new frontiers. Founded in Berlin in 1995, today the publishing house has approximately 30 staff members, with branch offices located in Berlin, London, New York, and Tokyo. It has produced over 500 books, the majority specializing in design, illustration, architecture and contemporary art.
