Sara was born in Virginia then raised between the U.S.A. and Greece. As soon as she could hold a pencil, Sara drew, and then she would make up stories to go with those drawings. Her tales of adventure and fantasy usually came complete with illustrations she’d sketch of each character —especially depicting their clothing.

She studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and at Polimoda in Florence, Italy. After working in N.Y.C. she moved back to Europe to attend jewelry making courses at Central St. Martins in London. She had her own label, and worked as a stylist for fashion magazines and boutiques. Now based in Athens, she’s a regular contributor to the U.S. Huffington Post for which she’s interviewed inspiring people worldwide. She’s also a screenwriter, with a feature film romantic comedy in pre-production in the U.K., as well as freelance illustrator.

Sara’s particularly thrilled to be a part of the groundbreaking Yatzer team and loves exploring and sharing all aspects of design, architecture, travel, art and (of course) fashion, all from Yatzer’s multifaceted and innovative viewpoint!
